Description: Artist Lanita Numina paints the Dingo Dreaming, an Aboriginal story of an old Dingo Man who travelled throughout the desert either as a dingo or a human ancestral being. He would instruct people living in isolated camps in law, language and ceremony. When the Dingo Man mated with a female dingo, the birth place of their cubs came to be regarded as a sacred site. Numina depicts a number of these ceremonial sites found along the creeks or rivers.
