Sarah van den Broek’s mixed media paintings are created using a layering process to achieve texture, with surface preparation and acrylic paints for depth.
Her series of paintings are inspired by various music tracks, representative of the beat and rhythm and playing on colour and form.
Sarah’s paintings have been successfully auctioned in support of charities, including the David Nott Foundation and Parkinson UK. In August 2017, she was awarded the David Yellop Academy Award for her painting Safe Harbour. Sarah has exhibited work at Walton Fine Arts, Chelsea, London and The Mayne Gallery in Devon.
