Caron works with a number of mediums, including paint, wood, wire and occasionally photography. Having previously studied and worked as an Architect, the discipline of architecture and graphic design continue to influence a major part of her approach and how she responds to her subjects. The artist is often inspired by equine, figurative and landscape themes.
Caron has previously won the prize for ‘Best Local Work’ in the Stride Open Art Competition (2017), was a finalist in the National Open Art Competition, and twice been voted ‘Best In Show’ for the Midhurst Art Society Annual Summer Exhibition over a number of works. She often exhibits work in Chichester and Midhurst in between working as a professional picture framer.
