Alfreda Nungarrayi Martin (b. 1978) comes from a well-established family of Aboriginal artists, beginning her career as a painter in 2008. Though she has had a variety of jobs throughout her life, painting is a continual source of enjoyment for her. Martin often focuses on representing her father’s Dreaming, Yurrampi Jukurrpa (Honey Ant Dreaming), and her grandfather’s Dreaming, Ngapa Jukurrpa (Water Dreaming).
